there are no specific cameras i know for "surgical photos".. it's just pure marketing.. some ppl like the olympus bodies for ergonomics, but bottom line, what's your budget and how does it fit in your hand :)? we'll have to discuss more.. and when do you need it?
Two words: Nikon D80. :P
